    From August 2003, my collaboration with Duval Guillaume got a more structural form. I started for half a year in the agency of Duval Guillaume Brussels, moved to Duval Guillaume Dialog, and little by little started to work as an integrated planner, over the edges of different disciplines like e-, coprorate, advertising, dm and PR. Finally I arrived at the integrated agency DG Antwerp.

    My job has always been including two essential steps in 'the creative work before the creative work':
    In the first place, the focus was always the big picture: what's the big brand idea? what makes it relevant for the people?
    Meaning-making was the key.
    After that we asked ourselves 'how will we tell the people and engage them?
    Here, channel planning was key.

    As I decided to become Strategic Planner, I started at Duval Guillaume Corporate on a pro-bono basis to learn the job.
    After three months of working for free in the afteroon, I was commisioned to do various jobs in the field of research, marketing, campaign planning and pitching at agencies such as Ten Advertising, LDV Bates, Duval Guillaume Antwerp, Internet Architects, VVL-BBDO etc...

    At that time, I was studying 'Marketing and Communications' at an evening school in Antwerp. In the mean-while, I worked in various positions in the field of communications:
'training consultancy' (Elsevier training), 'e-learning' (yooz.com, Kerylos), 'newspaper redactions' (Gazet Van Atwerpen), 'magazine redactions' (Add!ct Creative Lab), and finally at Choco, a Belgian advertising agency specialized in public awareness campaigns.

As Interim worker, I could enjoy the flexibility to combine studying with interesting job experience.
