I am the CEO of Virtual Words, the translation company I co-founded with my business partner Val Steinier in 1999.

With two offices - one in Denver, CO and one in Brussels, Europe - the company has experienced a steady growth since its inception.

As a result, in December 2007, we had an in-house team of 8 and a worldwide network of nearly 2,000 language professionals allowing us to translate between 50 European and Asian languages.

On an average year, we translate 5,000,000 words, send teams of simultaneous interpreters to various major European cities, and we subtitle or adapt 500 hours of interactive or audiovisual content.

This means that we are also able to provide expert advice on how to prevent specific issues overseas investors may face when expanding in a multilingual, multicultural Europe.

Currently, my main assignment is to foster and groom Virtual Words's growth and internationalization, which includes the opening of overseas offices in 2007 and 2008.
