John is Managing Partner of WillPower Group, an investment group with real estate patrimony and developments in South Africa, Romania, Brazil and Belgium as well as tech and commerce investments in Belgium, South Africa and Brasil.
John gained 6 years of professional experience in marketing management and business development of Internet Service Providers, followed by a solid track record of 6 years marketing consulting, investment management and business development in major convergence and broadband projects.
He managed global marketing programs at BT Openworld and was a new media advisor to major brand and content owners.
He gained a thorough experience in investment management and incubation as Executive Partner at NeoGroup. Amplexor (www.amplexor.com) and Boongdongle (www.boondoggle.eu) are two examples of companies he introduced to the fund and advised as director on the board.
John is a passionate technology marketer and has done regular overseas traveling to South Africa and Latin America. In 2006 he helped Net Brasil (NasdaqGM:NETC) implement their tripple play strategy.
He is member of the Word of Mouth Association (woma.org) and evangelizes the concept of Digital Lifestyle Aggregators and the impact of curated consumption on marketing.
