In maart 2008 publiceerde ik de 4e versie van mijn handleiding over LinkedIn. Momenteel werk ik aan de 5e versie die ook weer op lulu.com gratis beschikbaar zal zijn.

In januari 2008 beëindigde ik de Nederlandse vertaling van het book geschreven door Steen Andreasen over MorphX IT, waarin je een beschrijving vindt van de ontwikkelinomgeving van Axapta, voorganger van Dynamics AX.

Doelstellingen voor 2009-2010 :
op AWW houd ik me bezig met planning en release coordinatie. Ik trek ook tijd uit voor studiewerk rond C#.NET, Dynamics AX, SQLServer.
In mijn vrije tijd houd ik me ook bezig met Java 6.0, Eclipse en MyEclipse, Tomcat, MySQL.

In march 2009 the new structure of our ICT department was finally official. My major focus is release coordination and the technical documentation. Whenever I'm involved in projects, the tecnical side of the projects are for me more important than the managerial aspects. For example , for the Biztalk project, I made the technical documentation and documentation for the testing. This involves also studying the Axapta 3.0, Dynamics AX en C#.NET environment.

After my work as secretary study group Java and my move to Limburg, I wanted to start a comparable study group in my natal region. After a meeting with 15 persons of enterprises / high schools / university from Belgian or Dutch Limburg on 15th of june 2007, I knew there was a possible platform for this study group. . The group is called Lisja (Limburgse Studiegroep Java). Website is hosted on a server of NLJUG.

Goal of this study group is to start networking among Limburgish industry and high schools / universities and organise sessions about Java or Java related subjects

With the introduction of Axapta ERP, the decision was made to reorganise ICT. The programmation should be done mostly by external programmers. The analysis was shifted from the functional cel to the analist-programmers. And from a certain point of view, my main task became the same as at the beginning : planning the different projects and taking care of part of the ICT projects.
Since the shift from iSeries to Axapta was done, release coordination was added to planning and project management

I've been translating the book of Steen Andreasen about MorphX, the development suite of Axapta. This translation was done during my own hours and took more time than I had expected. It was done with 2 other translators. I've done the rereading of the work and the proofreading as soon as all the chapters were translated (beginning in juli 2007).

I have started the study group Java within the Flemish Chamber of Engineers (VIK). There were 2 candidates for the presidency, and none for secretary (as always), so I have been the founding secretary of this group.
The group stopped partly due to my move to my natal region (Limburg) and partly to the fact that the inscriptions were dropping. In june 2007 we agreed at VIK to stop both study groups Java and dotnet and start a new study group for informatics with a new name (to be continued in october 2007).

in 1992, when I started to work at AWW, the functional analysis was done in the departments outside ICT. From about 1999, there was a shift to get the functional analysis inside ICT. Some analists kept their work and changed their department. Other analists decided to stay at their department and let the analysis be done by ICT. I got a part of the functional design. Inside ICT a functional cel was started and got at most 3 members. In this period, we were shifting from AS400 and iSeries to Axapta, the ERP from Microsoft. This meant the end for the functional analysis and design and the start of use cases and UML.
